Few Question to answer when you consider Data Employment
Something to consider for employment in the Data field
You might already hear all the Data buzzwords, such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and many more. Then you who interested in working in this field would start to try finding resources, learning all about data, and commencing your first data project. The end goals should be all about employment in the data field, but is all your effort for data is worth the time?
My answer would be Yes and No because data experience is different for each person. Let me ask a few questions to make it more clear:
Are you fueled by curiosity in your everyday life?
Would you enjoy the process of data collection and data cleaning?
The Data field is always full of uncertainty, are you ready to always explain this to the other?
The data field is evolving rapidly, from the method, the science behind the data, and the technology supporting the field; Would you keep learning every day and not feeling left out?
and finally, do you envision yourself working with data because you want it or it is just for monetary purposes?
Well, you might want to think about this question and discuss it with yourself (Or with me, if you want it). The answer might reveal your intention for the Data employment.
All these questions made me better understand the extent of my "reasons" into the data journey. Why do I sometimes feel like I have lost my confidence? Sometimes on the other hand, over-expectation of myself?
Even so I enjoy this process. Thank you for sharing.
