Module 14: Writing the results and recommendations

A SQL result can be correct and still make a weak report. The table gives the numbers, but the reader still needs to know what they mean and what they don't show.

Previous module: Module 13, When an SQL query needs optimization.

In this module, we will use a March order analysis to write a short report. We will build the final table, check the total, and then write the findings, limitations, and recommendations.

The report is also your final course project. It brings together the question, SQL, result, and checks from the earlier modules.

After this module, you can:

  • Build a report table with prep, metrics, and final

  • Write a finding supported by the result

  • Explain what the result doesn’t show

  • Recommend a specific next check
